Flooring

Your choice of finish for your flooring is another important consideration, in terms of colour, function and project management.

For example with kitchens, tiles are the most commonly used material for flooring and therefore you should have considered the size, colour and texture of your tile when deciding the overall look you would like to achieve.

You may like to choose your flooring first, then match your kitchen finishes to it. It can be done the other way around, however to avoid disappointment the decision should not be left until after the kitchen is installed.

With kitchens, flooring can be laid either before or after the cabinetry is installed, depending on the material chosen. You will need to advise your designer what is planned so the finished cabinet height can be set accordingly.
